St. Pete Beach – St. Petersburg, FL

February 23, 2015

St. Pete Beach | St. Petersburg, FLIt’s been a while since I’ve been on a real beach! Although it was super windy the first day and the chill continued the following day, I was still glad we were able to relax at St. Pete Beach. Nothing more soothing than hearing the calm waves brush up against the shore.

At the hotel we stayed at there is a restaurant that revolves around, giving everyone the chance to get a view of the beach as they enjoy their meals. It was my first time experiencing anything quite like it and it didn’t disappoint. I can see how it may make some guests dizzy, but in my opinion it revolved around at a comfortable speed and I barely noticed the restaurant moving.

I would have loved to stay at the beach longer, but I guess that makes planning another beach getaway that much more exciting.

Yes, it was definitely nice that there wasn’t tons of tourists out at the beach, but also probably because it was a cold and windy day. I can how it can get more crowded during the warmer months!

Ah, everything looks so serene! The last time I was on a beach was during my winter break (swim) training trip in Florida earlier this year :)

A swim training trip during the winter in Florida sounds like a perfect trip! Especially since Florida knows of no real cold weather. haha
